The Zoetrope (2025)
Series of 12. Inspired by Karen Russell’s short story Ghost Birds.
In Chinese, the zoetrope (走马灯) is a metaphor for flashback memories in a person’s mind before death arrives. This series of etchings is a fictional visual memoir of glitched flashback memories inspired by that concept.
